The Jack Chapter will be meeting after school from 3:05pm to 3:30pm in the Lecture Hall today. Thank you and have a mentally healthy weekend!

Reminder to ACS Staff to fill out your Big Box of Kindness ballots! Staff is eligible to nominate any student showing acts of kindness throughout the school. The Box will be in the main office until 3:00PM on Monday and the draw will take place on ATV next week! Thank you very much for celebrating Catholic Education Week and Mental Health Awareness week with us!

This event has limited capacity so make sure to buy your tickets before it is too late!

Burford District Elementary School is looking for volunteers to help with their Fun Fair on June 13th.  Please see the Volunteer Board outside of Student Services for more information.

Attention Grade 12 students who have paid online for the grad retreat. Remember to also pick up a permission and health form at the chaplain's office. You must hand in the permission form to leave school property, as always. LEAP is very excited to present our LEAP Mosaics with a theme of Myths & Legends. You can choose an ancient myth or legend that captivates your imagination. Whether it be the epic tales of Greek Gods and heroes, the mystical stories of Norse mythology, or the enchanting folklore of other cultures, you can even create your own story!  Express yourself in poetry, narrative storytelling, or art. Your contribution will join those of your fellow students, forming a stunning mosaic that celebrates the timeless beauty and power of ancient mythology. Each entry receives one LEAP point. All entries should be no bigger than 8.5 by 11 inches and are due by Tuesday, May 21. The final mosaic will be displayed outside of the library. To submit your piece, please contact Ms. Engell or reach out to LEAP co-presidents, Harkirat Virk and Seerat Virk.

Attention Grade 12 students. Today is the last day to register and pay online for the grad retreat. The online payment link expires at midnight tonight. And if you require the vegetarian option for lunch you must hand in your health form to Mrs. Sheldrake by tomorrow.

There is a very quick and important meeting immediately after this morning’s announcements for all Track and Field Athletes.  Please go to Mr. P’s office to confirm your events for the AABHN Track and Field Meet this Thursday and Friday.  Confirmation of athletes and your events are due by 3pm today.  If you do not confirm your event, you will not be entered into the AABHN meet this week for a chance to compete at CWOSSA.

Good morning Grade 12's! Prom tickets go on sale today! You must pay for your Prom ticket using School Cash Online. The cost of the ticket is $75 per person.  THEN starting on Thursday, May 9th, you can begin picking up your physical ticket. Please bring your School Cash online receipt as proof of purchase to receive your ticket. When you pick up your ticket, you will also submit the names of all those who are sitting at your table. There is a MAX of 10 students per table.  A song request list will also be available during ticket pick-up. If you have any questions, please speak to Ms. Mosher or Mrs. S. Medeiros.

Attention grade 12 students. The grad retreat is coming up on May 21st.  Hurry and pay the $25 fee online by the deadline which is next Monday May 6th. If you require a vegetarian meal for lunch you MUST hand in your health form to Mrs. Sheldrake by May 6th indicating your request for the vegetarian option. The menu can not be altered to accommodate for the vegetarian option after May 6th. 

Pride Month is fast approaching. Make sure you are prepared with your Pride spirit wear. T-Shirts are on sale for $25 plus HST and Hoodies are $40 plus HST. Names can be added for an extra $5. 

The Grand Erie District School Board is hosting their annual Rainbow Ball on Thursday, May 16th. The cost is $10 per person and includes transportation to Dunnville Secondary School, as well as snacks and drinks. See Ms. Nuhu or Ms. O'Sullivan for permission forms. 

ACS Students Council is proud to present this year's spring dance - Blooming into Spring. Ticket sales will begin next week on Monday, May 6th. If you are planning to bring a guest from another school, you MUST pick up and complete a guest form BEFORE you can purchase a ticket for your guest. Forms are available in the main office, so get yours today!

Get excited! “Clue” tickets will begin selling on May 13th during both lunches for $5.00 each. Make sure to join the grade 12 drama class on May 30th, as you only have one night to see the chaos. Aren’t you dying to know who did it?

The Brantford CYO Girls Basketball Annual Scholarship will be granted to two graduating female students who are entering university or college the following school year. There will be two $500 scholarships available each year.  See D2L for application details.

For members of the ACS Book Club who are participating in publishing a book, there will be a meeting TODAY during both lunches. In addition, all Book Club members should come by today during lunch to vote for your favorite White Pine nominated title. Meeting and voting will happen in the Library's Innovation lab. 

Attention all students who have qualified for a Track or Field event.  You must confirm your participation in that event and your intent to participate in the Track meet this Friday at PJ by the end of the day TODAY.  If you do not confirm your event, you will not participate in the meet on Friday.
