1. Attention Senior students: This is your reminder that the School Letter and Lion Award application will be released on Wednesday, March 4th. Applications can be signed out from the library with Ms. Santos or Ms. Engell.
2. Attention graduating students! Come and meet your valedictorian candidates! Their essays are posted outside of the main office. The vote is March 5th.
3. Introducing a brand‑new library experience! Join us for our first-ever Tea with LAC on Monday, March 9 in the Library Fishbowl after school until approximately 4:30. Enjoy snacks or drinks inspired by different books, listen to exciting book descriptions, and see if you can guess the titles to win fun prizes! This FREE event has limited spots, so be sure to sign up in the library by the end of the day Friday, March 6.
4. Hey Lions, would you like to join our ACS Prefect Team? If so, bring your lunch & a friend to the Lecture Hall on TODAY during YOUR lunch to find out more about our ACS Prefect Program and how to join. We only recruit ONCE per year, so don’t miss your chance. We look forward to meeting you!
5. Attention all students in the Non profit and Child Care S.H.S.M. You have a mandatory trip on March 10th. Please be sure to check your email and the D2L page as soon as possible. On TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY of this week, please pick up a form from your lead teacher, either Ms. Lachance in room 2060 or Ms. Torto in portable 13.
6. Business SHSM Students, Attention Business SHSM students – a reminder that there is very important meeting today, beginning at 1:30pm in Room 1019 Computer Lab to launch our Pitch Your Vision competition. That’s Today at 1:30pm in Room 1019 for all Business SHSM students.
7. Congratulations to the senior boy’s basketball team who competed at CWOSSA this past weekend. Although it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, we are so proud of the team for their dedication and success this season. It has been 20 years since the last first place finish! A big shout out goes to the senior boys who will not be returning. We look forward to seeing the players returning next year!
8. Senior boys' rugby players, your first training session is tonight from 4-6, please ensure you have a signed permission form. Juniors and bantams' boys, you are tomorrow from 4-6.
9. Congratulations to our Blind Date With a Book Found Poem Contest Winners! A big round of applause to Yashara Amen and Divine Arthur for their creative and standout entries! Thank you to all our wonderful participants who took a chance on a mystery book and turned it into poetry. Winners - please come down after ATV to pick up your prize!
10. Monday's cafe special in the servery will be Cheese tortellini with Parma Rosa sauce and a side of garlic toast for $5.75.
