1. Welcome to spirit week lions! Student council has all sorts of theme days and activities planned for the week. Check out posters around the school and on social media for more info. Today is “Spring Accessory Day”. Full uniform is required, but dress it up with sunglasses and other spring accessories! Freezies will be for sale on all lunches at the back of the caf for $2. Tomorrow is “Spring Colours Day”. Replace your uniform top with BRIGHT green, pink or yellow.
2. Want a ticket to the hottest show in town? Then pick up your “Dead Poets Society” ticket for only $5, today at the back of the caf during ALL lunches. Or purchase via schoolcashonline and pick up your physical ticket at the back of the caf. You won’t want to miss it! The gr. 12 drama’s final show is THIS Thursday, May 28th from 6-8pm.
3. Attention grade 12s! Tomorrow is senior sunset from 8:30-9:30pm in the back field. The cost of admission is $2. Snacks will be provided. Come on out to take some pictures and make lasting memories!
4. Attention all members of the child care and non profit SHSM, please report to the lecture hall immediately for your certification day. This will last al day.
5. Got a library book hiding in your locker, backpack, or under your bed? Return it BEFORE Monday, June 1st and you’ll score a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card. Literally just hand it in this week and you’re in—no plot twists required. Let’s bring those books home, Lions.
6. Bonjour everyone! The French Club is meeting this Thursday after school. Come enjoy a French apéritif with snacks, music, and a game of pétanque with friends. Registration is required. Scan the QR code on posters around the school or see Madame Di Francesco to sign up. À jeudi!
7. Yoga club Members, tomorrow (Tuesday May 26) will be our last practice together for the school year. Looking forward to seeing you there!
