Attention all Boys Lacrosse players. There is a sign-up sheet outside Mr. Petrella's office in the gymnasium for those interested in playing on the Assumption Lacrosse Team. Sign up will be done using the QR code posted outside the male Phys. Ed office. Permission forms can also be picked up there.
The Chess Club will have a regular meeting TODAY after school. All are welcome to attend. We will go to Ryerson NEXT Tuesday, after the Easter weekend.
Junior Soccer tryouts will be TODAY and Thursday from 4:30pm to 6pm.
This Wednesday will be Orange Shirt Day. Staff and students are encouraged to wear an Orange Shirt on Wednesday.

Winner of the contest will be announced the week of April 1st.

Some exciting news from STEM. Registration for the 2024 Vision Conference starts Friday morning. A QR Code taking you to the conference's website will be posted around the school: STEM display board outside of Student Services, Science display board outside of Room 2064, white board outside of Room 3005. Only 900 spots available to every high school student in Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties. You will also need a permission form (Room 3005) and to pay $20 at cash online. This event will take place on Wednesday, May 1st at the Sanderson Center and Brantford Laurier Campus.
Monday April 8th, despite being a PA Day, we have a Solar Eclipse starting at 2:00pm and peeking at 3:15pm. Make sure you have a pair of glasses to watch the event! That evening at the Sanderson Center at 7:00pm, the Hillier foundation is hosting Jane Goodall, an English primatologist and anthropologist. She is considered the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, after 60 years' studying the social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees. Mr. Page has 85 tickets available to STEM students.

The Forum for Young Canadians: Summit 360 is back! This is an opportunity for youth across the country to learn from Canadian leaders about how our country is governed. Participants have an opportunity to connect with a Senator, Member of Parliament, and other Canadian decision-makers from across the country in a virtual forum. Registration is open until March 19th, and you can find more details on the CWAYC (“quake”) bulletin board outside of Student Services.

A bursary looks at a student’s level of financial need and their academic success. Typically, bursaries do not require marks as high as those needed to win scholarships. Attention all students interested in playing Senior Football next year. There will be an important Off-Season Meeting TODAY in the Lecture Hall at 11:35am. Students in Grade 10 must first seek permission from their Period 3 teachers to attend. The meeting should be approximately 40 minutes. This is the first step in defending our OFSAA title.
