1. Grade 12 grads, donate those uniform parts to TLC for an opportunity to win some great prizes. Each item gets you one ballot. See Mrs. Medeiros or Mrs. Bednarz for ballots. Winners announced at Grad lunch.
2. Attention Grade 12 students who challenged the DELF this semester. If you haven’t received your results yet, please pick them up in the main office. Merci.
3. The following bus routes will leave at 12PM on exam days: 211, 212, 216, 725, 727, 730, and 733. All other buses will leave regular time.
4. Students who have paid for a yellow parking pass, you can return your pass to the main office for your refund.
5. Are you in Grade 12, living in the Burford area, and heading to post-secondary this fall? Once exams are done, here’s an easy chance to win some sweet cash. The Burford Optimist Club is offering a $1,000 prize for its annual essay contest, open to Burford graduating students. All you need to do is write a 500–750 word essay and submit it by midnight on June 30 to burford optimist essay@yahoo.com. Don’t miss out! This could be the easiest cash you earn all summer. 6. Were you thinking about going on the 2028 Arts March Break trip to Greece? It isn’t too late, but spots are filling up! The price goes up on June 30th. Sanam Godiwala has won the Provincial OECTA Young Author Award for the Grades 9–10 Poem category for “Unfinished Ending”. And bravo to Brooke-Lynn Caruana, who came first in the Grades 11–12 Nonfiction category for “The Silence That Affects the Mind”! Your creativity, passion, and hard work have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder! Let’s give these outstanding authors a big round of applause!
