Tuesday June 2, 2026

1.   We have a winner! Elizabeth Victor you have won the $25 Amazon Gift Card for returning your library book on time! Thank you to everyone who returned their book on time. Keep em’ coming! 

2.   Vocal Ensemble is reminded that today is the last day of rehearsals. Hope to see you there from 3-4pm in the lecture hall! 

3.   Need something to do this Friday night?! The Jack Chapter is hosting their annual Spring Karaoke with the addition of Just Dance every day until Friday during all three lunches. The event is this Friday from 6-8 PM. Tickets are $5 and include pizza and prizes during the event. Come out and enjoy your Friday night with the Jack Chapter!  

4.   The Rotary Brantford Classic Run is this Sunday June 7th, if you are interested in running, sign up online. If you have any questions, please see Mme Beccari or Mr. Prior.  

5.   The 2028 March Break Trip to Greece is over half full! Did you miss the first information session? Don’t worry! There is another information session on Thursday, June 4 at 7PM at St. John’s College! Enroll soon to claim your spot and to lock in the lowest price. Trip costs go up at the end of June! See Ms. Benoit or grab an info package from outside of room 2015 today! 

6.   Packages are now available for The March break 2028 France, Italy, Monaco trip in room 2004. Come by and pick up a package. Come to the information meeting on Wednesday, June 10th at 7pm in the lecture hall for all the details and to enroll in this amazing opportunity. Enroll now before prices go up!   

7.   Todays special in the servery will be mac and cheese with a side of garlic toast for $5.75. There will be NO pizza today as we are short on product.

1.   Today is whiteout day! Replace any uniform part with a white article of clothing. All non-white items must be uniform. Tomorrow is the final day of our spirit week lions, so let’s bring it! It’s a Jersey Day! Wear school sports jerseys or any team jersey paired with uniform or spirit wear bottoms. Get ready for pep rally! 

2.   Attention grads! Would you like to win an extra grad pass?  Come to the main office NEXT WEEK (June 1st to June 5th), before or after school, or during your lunch to sign up for the lottery.  Winners will be announced on Monday June 8th. 

3.   Want a ticket to the hottest show in town? It’s not too late! Pick up your “Dead Poets Society” ticket for only $5, today at the back of the caf during ALL lunches. Cash only. Hurry! Today is the last day to purchase at lunch. But don’t worry, if you still want to attend, you may purchase your ticket at the door! Doors open at 5:30pm tonight! The gr. 12 drama’s final show is TONIGHT, Thursday, May 28th from 6-8pm. 

4.   ACS wins again! Congratulations to our fellow Lion, Seerat Virk, on winning the prestigious Laurier Stedman Prize for her short story, “The Same Wind,” earning an incredible $3,500 award.   A huge congratulations as well to our other talented nominees: Ema N., Iré O., and Celeste W. for their outstanding short story submissions to this year’s competition. We are incredibly proud of all of our writers and deeply appreciate the creativity, dedication, and hard work that went into this year’s submissions.  

5.   The 180 Team is meeting today on the lunchtimes in the chapel.

8.   There will be a Junior Soccer Meeting in the gym on grades 9 & 10 lunch’s today. Only students who are on the list need to attend.  

9.   Math club is cancelled for today.  We will resume next week.  We hope to see you there! 

10.  The last STEM event of the year is tomorrow!  Come join the talk with an Aerospace Design Engineer on senior lunch.  Slips are outside 3005.  Juniors need permission from their teacher. 

11.  Do you need some help with your OSAP application? If the answer is yes, Ms. Chagnon will be providing assistance during senior lunch today in computer lab 2007.

1.   Today is “Spring Colours Day”. Replace your uniform top with BRIGHT green, pink or yellow.  Uniform bottoms required. For tomorrow, it’s “Tropical Day”, so replace uniform tops with Hawaiian shirts or floral printed tops.  

2.   Attention grade 12s! Senior sunset is tonight from 8:30-9:30pm in the back field. The cost of admission is $2. Snacks will be provided. Come on out to take some pictures and make lasting memories!

6.   Hey Lions! If they haven't done so already, students travelling on the England & France trip are asked to come by Room 2052 or Room 1004 to pick up their trip permission forms package. Please return the signed forms with a photocopy of your passport to Mrs. McLaughlin before Monday, June 1st. Remember, these are important documents that allow you to travel!
