4. The Environment Club will be meeting TODAY at 3pm, in Room 3024 – everyone welcome!
5. During exams on June 20, 23, 24, 25 the majority of busses will run on their current schedule after 3 pm. Students are encouraged to arrange for alternative transportation on these days as there will be no late taxi’s. The following buses will leave ACS at 12:00p.m. during exams: B-725, B-730 and B-733, 18, 18A.

1. A reminder to grade 9’s that extra math help will be available in the library after school.
2. Lions, as you heard yesterday, our final dress down day is tomorrow. This last dress down day is super special as the money raised will be helping us with our promise of sending a much-needed shipping container to Haiti. The container will be filled with goods for the people of Haiti and we are so proud that our school has taken the vow of sending a box, once every four years. Please do not forget your $2 tomorrow!
3. A friendly reminder that the Yearbook Club will be meeting this afternoon at 3:10p.m. in room 2028. Please come prepared to continue to work on Yearbook pages. Remember that if you are interested in being credited for volunteer hours from the Yearbook Club, from the past academic year, please have your forms ready next week to be signed by Mrs. McLaughlin or Ms. Christie.
4. Today's special in the servery will be Panzerotti's -cheese or pepperoni available with your choice of garlic mayo, hot mayo or marinara dipping sauce for $6.30. For those students that received the Simba award, I still have 15 tickets outstanding that need to be redeemed even though the date is expired we are still accepting them. So please come on in. Also, the regular cookies are back in stock as well as we have the new cookies that some students liked here as well. Ice cream cookies available for $2.99 just ask they are in the back in the freezer.

4. Attention Junior Lions! Just a friendly reminder that the England/France Trip Parent Information Meeting is taking place in the Lecture Hall tonight at 6:00p.m. All parents and students in grades 9 and 10 are welcome even if you have not RSVP’d. More information about the trip will be provided after the meeting if you are unable to attend. We highly recommend that as many parents and students who are interested in the trip attend tonight’s meeting as a representative for EF Tours will be there to answer any initial questions. A raffle for a $100 bursary towards the price of the trip will be held for all students in attendance!

2. Are you sad that you can no longer borrow library books? Well, why not head to the library to purchase a ‘new-to-you’ book for only $2. We have a variety of young-adult books just waiting to be purchased. All proceeds go to buying new books for our school library.

SPORTS: Our Senior Boy's Double Tennis team consisting of Adam Bednarz and Matt MacLean won both the AABHN and CWOSSA championship back in October for the first time in ACS history. This past week, our boys competed at OFSAA in Toronto and captured the bronze medal with a 5 -1 record and a tie breaking win in the final game. Congratulations to both of them on a great season!

1. We would like to congratulate the 64 successful new Prefect recruits who were Commissioned and warmly welcomed to the ACS Prefect Team this past week. On behalf of ACS, we’d like to thank our current Prefects for their servant leadership this semester as they helped many students academically through our Homework Help and Tutoring services, as well as Mentored our newest Lions to help them feel at home here at ACS. To the support network behind Prefect, thank-you! Without you, there is no us. Wishing everyone a fantastic end to the semester and we look forward to the beautiful summer ahead.
2. The final ACS book club meeting and potluck is tomorrow. Bring your favorite dessert to share. Come either at 8:15am or after school at 3:05pm to the Library’s Innovation lab. Come out to see the final copy of our published book, play some literary games and share our summer reading lists! Both meetings are the same. I hope to see you there!
3. Today's special will Potato and Cheese perogies sauteed with onions and fries for $6.50 with sour cream on the side. Perogies on their own $5.50. Cookies are in the house FINALLY- not our big belly recipe but still a chocolate chip cookie!! Also Sushi is available for our Sushi lovers!! This will be the last week. 1. Hey Grads: Grad lottery starts on Monday. Grad packages with invites and seating passes delivered to HRs, on Monday. Teachers. Be sure to check your mailbox that morning. Purchased Caps and grad gown delivery will start on Monday, during HR. It will take a few days to get around to all HR, so be patient. No Hr? No worries. It will be delivered to you in another class.
2. Hey Lions! Faith and Fellowship is meeting today during lunch! Join us for conversations about faith, to ask questions, and to be part of our faith community. Grade 10's meet in room 3028, and grade 11’s and 12's in room 3029. This will be the last meeting of the year for grades 11 and 12. See you there!
3. Please take note that the final ACS book club meeting and potluck next week will be held on Thursday June 5 either at 8:15am OR after school at 3:05pm in the Library’s Innovation lab.
