1. Today is the day! Personal library books are due. Library books needed for class MUST BE returned before June 19th. Please return your library book to avoid fines.
2. Just a reminder to all athletes that Athletic Banquet tickets are on sale now in the female phys. Ed. Office. The cost is $35 cash only!! This is a sell out event, so you better act fast!!
3. Attention Junior Lions! It was the best of times—and it can be yours, too! You are invited to join us on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to London, Normandy, and Paris during March Break 2027. To give you all the information you need, and answer all your questions, we will be hosting a parent information meeting here at Assumption College School on Monday June 9th at 6:00pm in the Lecture Hall. There are limited spots available on this trip so don’t miss your opportunity to secure your spot. One parent/guardian must be in attendance. Ask parents/guardians to check their emails for a registration link for the meeting or look for QR codes throughout the school. For more information on living-out your chapter in A Tale of Two Cities, reach out to Mrs. McLaughlin, Mr. Paonessa, or Ms. Capostagno.

1. Hey Grads: Grad lottery starts on Monday. Grad packages with invites and seating passes delivered to HRs, on Monday. Teachers. Be sure to check your mailbox that morning. Purchased Caps and grad gown delivery will start on Monday, during HR. It will take a few days to get around to all HR, so be patient. No Hr? No worries. It will be delivered to you in another class.
2. Hey Lions! Faith and Fellowship is meeting today during lunch! Join us for conversations about faith, to ask questions, and to be part of our faith community. Grade 10's meet in room 3028, and grade 11’s and 12's in room 3029. This will be the last meeting of the year for grades 11 and 12. See you there!
3. Please take note that the final ACS book club meeting and potluck next week will be held on Thursday June 5 either at 8:15am OR after school at 3:05pm in the Library’s Innovation lab. Both meetings will be the same, come at the time that accommodates your schedule the best. Looking forward to sharing snacks and having some literary fun! Hope to see you there.

St. Gabriel's is holding their annual fun fair next week, June 3 from 4 30 to 7pm and they could use some extra help! Please pop in to St. Gabriel's to register to help! 5. Looking for some summer reads? Why not head to the library to purchase a ‘new-to-you’ book for only $2. We have a variety of young-adult books just waiting to be purchased. All proceeds go to buying new books for our school library.

1. Last week, the Varsity Girls Soccer Team fought hard in their final game against St. John’s. Unfortunately, the girls came up short, but the coaches are so proud of their hard work and determination. Shout out to the Grade 12s who will be very missed next soccer season: Julia, Audra, Brianna, Aryhanna, Czeska, and Madison. Thank you for your commitment to the team, and for all the positive memories you contributed to. As for the other girls, we are hoping to see you, and others, next year
2. The girls slo-pitch team season came to an end with a second place finish. The girls won theirs first two games against BCI and PJ. The girls moved onto the AABhN final. Leading the entire game, a tough Cayuga team snuck out a win in the bottom of the final inning. It was a great day for this new and fun team! Special shout out to Georgia for her incredible catches in centre field, and Ashlyn for her consistent pitches. All players are reminded to return their uniform to Ms McDade.

1. Attention grade 12 students who are going on the grad retreat. Tuesday morning at 8:45am you are to meet at the school entrance by the portables and tennis courts for your buses. Be sure to bring a refillable water bottle, a hat and sunscreen. Dress for the weather in school- appropriate casual clothing.

We’re proud to announce that ACS has WON the AAHBN Track Meet! Our athletes gave an outstanding performance across the board, highlighted by:A new record in the Senior Boys 200m by Zagham, A record-setting run in the Novice Boys 100m by Mubarak, a record setting Long Jump by Rashaad and victories in 4 out of the 6 relay events. A special congratulations goes out to Carling Ruddell who came first in all four of her events. This incredible achievement is a result of hard work, dedication, and team spirit. Congratulations to all the athletes and coaches who made this possible! Good luck at CWOSSA next Friday. Go Lions!

1. Grade 12 students – the grad retreat is on Tuesday. Get your permission forms in tomorrow. You are to meet on Tuesday morning at 8:45am at the school entrance by the portables and tennis courts for your buses. Be sure to bring a refillable water bottle, a hat and sunscreen. Dress for the weather in school-appropriate casual clothing.
2. Second last day to donate shoes to the Confidence Closer Shoe Drive, Lions! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, we are very thankful for your generosity and we are so grateful to be able to support these youth and young adults who need these donations.
