Welcome Back Lions! We are looking forward to an awesome school year.
Final student schedules were emailed on Friday, September 1st. Students are asked to follow the schedules sent on Friday.
Should students need any class changes, they must sign up for an appointment with their Guidance Counsellor in the Student Services office between Tuesday, September 5th and Friday, September 8th. NO changes will be made via email or phone call.
Any new students that did not receive a locker or computer password are asked to visit the main office on Tuesday for this information.
Attention all grade 9 students. Student council has planned a special event just for you! Next Thursday, September 14th, is COLOUR NIGHT - a fun filled evening of games, pizza, and a grade 9 only dance. Plus, you get to dress down all day in your team colour! Tickets for this event are $8, and will be sold at the back of the cafeteria during lunch from Thursday September 7 - Wednesday September 13. Come on out to meet new friends and make lasting memories! If you are a grade 12 student and wish to volunteer to lead a colour team for this event, please sign up on the sheet outside of TLC.
The boys varsity baseball season has been moved to the fall this year! Boys' baseball tryouts will be held on Wednesday, September 6th and Thursday, September 7th this week at Bill Little Park from 3:30-5 pm. Permission forms can be picked up outside the male phys-ed office and must be returned to Miss Robitaille in the green folder outside of room 3014 prior to the first tryout.
Attention any girls interested in playing basketball. Basketball tryouts are as follows:
Junior Girls Basketball tryouts begin Wednesday September 6th 4:30-6:00
Senior Girls Basketball tryouts begin Wednesday September 6th 3:00-4:30.
Tryouts will only be held on Wednesday and Thursday this week! Sign up sheet is outside Boys Phys-Ed office.
The Cafeteria welcomes everyone back. For the next couple of days the menu will be reduced. For the next two days, the menu will consist of fries, poutine, pizza, garlic bread/fingers, cookies, and more. Please take note the entrance to the servery has changed. Have an awesome day Lions.

A reminder that lockers are to be cleaned out by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 27th. Students are to take their locks home with them. If you find a textbook in your locker that does not belong to you, please bring it to the main office.
All textbooks will be collected by the teacher before the students write the examination. Outstanding textbooks are to be given to the subject teacher before or on the day of the examination.
Bus routes that leave at noon are posted outside the main office.

The final GSA meeting will be held in room 1035 during first lunch today. Pop in to sign up for a mural painting shift during exam week.
Anyone want to win some Apple earbuds or some great gift cards? Donate any gently used uniform items to TLC and receive one ballot for each item brought in. Grads, your last day is tomorrow so haul in those items. The draw will take place at Grad Breakfast next week. Any non-graduating winners will be contacted via email. Good luck!!

Just a correction from yesterday, the students eligible for the French trip to Quebec next year include anybody that took grade 10 French this year AND anyone who will be taking grade 10 French next year. Please check your D2 L page. If you do not see the information, see a French teacher.
