Creative Writers
Attention all creative writers. I'm talking to those who submitted something to the Stedman Lauier Contest. I'm talking to those who submitted something via your English teacher, to the first and second publications of "The Exchange". I'm talking to any one else who loves to write. Here's an opportunity to submit that work, polished and error free to the OECTA writing contest. You must have two copies of your typed original short story, poem, or nonfiction piece (3,000 word limit) to Mrs. Fergus before the end of the day, Friday, February 9th and she will attach the necessary application form. You can enter more than once. "You gotta be in it to win it!"

Hey students! Looking for a summer job? Have you considered working for the Ontario Government? Each year the Ontario Public Service targets up to 5,000 summer students to work in locations across Ontario such as, Ontario Parks, Environment, Science, Administration, Business and Finance, Research and Laboratory, Communication and Customer Service. Final Exam Prep and Study Bliz
ACS is blessed to be offering free Final Exam Preparations and Study Blitz from Mon. January 15 to Thurs. January 18 between 3-4pm in the school’s library (Think Tank). Several ACS Prefects and staff are offering free tutoring and exam preparations, including study tips and strategies, for all students. Computers and printers are available. This is a great opportunity for students who may have incomplete course culminating activities and/or summative assignments to complete them. Please encourage your son or daughter to attend.
