Staff and students—this invitation is for each of you! As a commitment to reconciliation, the Grade 11 Law class has been exploring Indigenous Legal Changemakers from across Canada. These are individuals who have participated in advocacy projects, legal change, and some important Canadian cases. We have learned so much, we wanted to invite all Staff and students to join us on our learning journey by participating in a Changemaker Scavenger Hunt. There are fourteen posters on the wall at the front of the Caf containing an anonymous biography of one of these Changemakers. Over the next week, we invite you to read the posters and try to identify each person by name and to submit your answers using the provided QR Code or link. If you get all FOURTEEN individuals correct, you will be entered into a draw to win a prize! Specific instructions and links are posted with the posters too. One entry per person, and the contest ends Monday, October 30th at 3:00 pm. Happy researching!
