1. Just a friendly reminder that the Yearbook Club is meeting this afternoon after school in art room 2028. Remember to bring your volunteer forms to the meeting to have your earned hours confirmed by Mrs. McLaughlin or Ms. Christie. Also, next week is the last meeting of the year so please bring your smiles for our club group photo! See you there!
2. Today is “Tropical Day”, so replace uniform tops with Hawaiian shirts or floral printed tops. Uniform bottoms still required. Buy fruit punch and lemonade for $1 on all lunches in the caf. Tomorrow is whiteout day! Wear as much white as possible! Replace any uniform part with a white article of clothing. All non-white items must be uniform.
3. Want a ticket to the hottest show in town? Then pick up your “Dead Poets Society” ticket for only $5, today at the back of the caf during ALL lunches. Or purchase via schoolcashonline and pick up your physical ticket at the back of the caf. Hurry! Today is the last day to purchase online. The gr. 12 drama’s final show is tomorrow, Thursday, May 28th from 6-8pm.
4. Hey Lions, want to make your mark on the next ACS Yearbook? Look for the Yearbook posters around the school for more information on how to upload your photos from school events to the Up-Load-It app. Your photos can be published in next year’s Yearbook. See Ms. Christie or Ms. McLaughlin for more information!
5. Reminder: your library book is not part of your permanent collection. Return it BEFORE Monday, June 1st for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card. All it takes is handing it in this week and you’re entered in the draw—zero effort, maximum reward. Free the book, help the library and maybe fund your next late-night shopping spree.
6. Bonjour everyone! The French Club is meeting tomorrow after school. Come enjoy a French apéritif with snacks, music, and a game of pétanque with friends. Registration is required. Scan the QR code on posters around the school or see Madame Di Francesco to sign up. À jeudi!
7. Wednesday's cafe special will be Homemade Panzerotti's Cheese or Pepperoni with your choice of dipping sauces -Hot mayo, garlic mayo or marinara for $6.50. Cinnamon buns available at 10:15 am.
