2. Thursdays Environmental fast fact is: Plastic doesn’t just disappear—it sticks around.
Plastic pollution harms animals and ends up in our food through microplastics. Using reusable bottles, bags, and containers is an easy way to cut down on waste.
3. Calling all writers looking to win some sweet cash, join the LAC SLAM POETRY CONTEST celebrating April as National Poetry Month! Combining the world of theatre with poetry, perform a clip up to 90 seconds of your original written piece with any theme of your choice! 1st place prize is a $100 cash, 2nd place prize $50, 3rd place: $25. The entries are due this Monday by 9:00 AM in the Library D2L. If you have any questions feel free to ask an LAC member or Mrs. Engell in the library!

5. Attention Grade 12’s. Prom tickets go on sale this Monday on School Cash Online. Make sure you get your tickets before they sell out. Reach out to Ms. Mosher, Mrs. S. Medeiros, or Mrs. Lucchesi if you have any questions.
6. If you are interested in the Guatemala Encounter Trip for 2027 but missed the information meeting please pick up your application from the main office by the end of this week. Applications are due back to your chaplain by April 30th. Successful applicants will be notified by May 8th. Join us for a life changing trip!

8. Attention Grade 9 and 10 students: Are you interested in joining the ACS Arts Trip to Greece during March Break 2028? If so, please attend the Greece Information Night with your parents on Wednesday, April 29th at 7:00 PM in the ACS Lecture Hall! You’ll receive all the trip details and have a chance to win great door prizes, including an Acropolis "Lego” set, travel swag, Greece merchandise, or $100 off the cost of the trip. Information packages are available outside Room 2015. We hope to see you next Wednesday evening!

10. The Boys Soccer team are off to a great start to their season! On Monday, Greyson V. earned a clean sheet with man of the match honours going to Ethan P. On Wednesday, Greyson V. earned another clean sheet with man of the match honours going to Donavan R. Special shoutout to Emmanuel U. for goal of the year candidate. The boys have now scored 11 goals on the year while conceding zero through 2 matches. The boys have a double match day on Monday at PJ with games at 9:45 and 2:45.
11. Today's cafe special will be Pulled Pork on a bun topped with mozzarella cheese and onions for $6.85 add a small fries for $7.65. Cinnamon buns available at 10:15 am. Sushi is in stock while supplies last. Freezies and ice cream cups available.
