1. Applications for Student Council are now available in the main office. If you are interested in joining our team next year, please pick one up today!
2. Attention Grade 12 students! All students in grade 12 are invited to attend the Grad retreat even if you will not be graduating this year. Enjoy a day outdoors at camp Marydale with your friends and a barbeque lunch. The deadline to pay online is May 4th. See the poster outside of the chaplain’s office for more details and a permission form.
3. Attention Graduating Class of 2026 students who are attending post-secondary education in the Fall. Several incredible Grad Award applications are now available. Please ensure that you review the Award History (when available) before submitting your applications.
4. Are you taking coop next school year? There is a mandatory meeting tomorrow, yes Thursday, April 9th immediately following announcements in the lecture hall.
5. Attention students in social justice and child care. The mandatory training is tomorrow! If you were on the list and need to return your permission form, please do so immediately. Wear your uniform or spirit wear and meet in the caf at 8.40am on Thursday.
6. Attention STEM students, STEM Olympics will be held the week of April 20th to April 24th (please note the date change). Create a group of no more than 4 students at the same grade level and sign up outside of room 3005. The week’s events include trivia, as well as grade level, math, and engineering challenges. Don’t miss the chance for your team to be declared STEM Olympics Champions!
7. This year’s spring dance is scheduled for Thursday, April 30th from 6-9pm, and the theme is 90’s Throwback! Ticket sales will begin for $5 on school cash online Monday, April 20th. If you plan to bring an outside guest, be sure to pick up a guest permission form from the main office starting today. No guest tickets will be sold without a signed permission form.
8. Reminder to Intermediate Band members of our rehearsal today. No show for practice means no Canada’s Wonderland trip. Anyone requiring a taxi must sign up in the office.
9. Attention Jack Chapter members who want to be involved in this year’s Catholic Education Week videos in any capacity, please attend a brief meeting at 3:05 in Room 1005, TODAY after school. Thank you and have a mentally healthy day.
10. Just a friendly reminder that the Yearbook Club will be meeting after school today in Room 2028!
11. The 180 Team is meeting tomorrow in the chapel on the lunchtimes.
12. All girls interested in trying out for the SLO-PITCH team. Please come to a mandatory meeting at the beginning of first lunch tomorrow, Thursday, April 9.
13. There will be a track and field meeting Wednesday the 8th from 3:00-4:00pm at the Track right after school. Please bring a change of clothes and this will be our first practice.
14. Attention Boys’ Varsity Baseball team! There will be a brief meeting at 3 pm in portable 5 on Thursday, April 9th to discuss the spring tournament.
