SHSM Training

On Thursday November 27, 2025, SHSM students visited Learnit at Wilfrid Laurier in Brantford.

The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) is a specialized high school program, where the students concentrate on the areas of Computer Engineering and Manufacturing Sectors. Students participated in  Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE) training.

They pariticipated in challenges, and were addressed by Dr. John Edison Muñoz Cardona about robotics and AI (Artificial Intelligence). Students then built a controller and robot using the ESP32 microcontroller.
