Academic Awards
Congratulations, Academic Award Winners 2024-2025!
The Faculty of Assumption College School is delighted to congratulate the Academic Award Winners from the 2024-2025 school year.
This year, we will be holding our annual Academic Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 6:00 pm.
The celebration will include acknowledgement by Grade of the Principal’s Honour Roll and subject-specific awards for academic proficiency. It will also involve the presentation of several special awards and scholarships, including one of the school’s most prestigious honours—the Lion Award.
Invitations were E-mailed home via SchoolMessenger on November 17th and winners are invited to bring two guests to the celebration due to fire regulations.
Please note: Award winners who are unable to attend the ceremony will receive their awards AFTER the celebration on November 26th. Students are asked to stay tuned to announcements in the days following the ceremony.
Recipients must RSVP before noon on Nov. 24th using the link in the invitation. (Student username and password is required)
ACADEMIC AWARDS 2025
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. How do I know I was invited?
If you were listed on the 2024-2025 Honour Roll, you (and your family) were E-mailed an invitation to the Academic Award
Ceremonies on Monday, November 17, 2025 through School Messenger. If you have not received this invitation, please ensure
you check your Junk Folder. If you still cannot find it, please visit the Main Office.
Also, please know that invitations were also E-mailed separately to the recipients of Academic Proficiency Awards too. This
means that if you received an invitation but are not on the 2024-2025 Honour Roll, you are being recognized for at least one
subject-specific award at the ceremony.
2. Do I need to RSVP?
Yes! While we are happy to have so many deserving award recipients, our seating capacity is limited. To aid our Custodial Set-up
Team, please RSVP before 12:00 pm on Nov. 24 using the link in the invitation. Please save your first reply and you will be able
to return and update your RSVP until this deadline so our attendance count is as accurate as possible for fire regulations.
3. What happens if I can’t make it?
If you cannot attend the Academic Awards Ceremony, you will still receive your awards, but not until AFTER the ceremony on
Nov. 26th. You are still asked to RSVP using the link in the invitation before noon on Nov. 24th. In the days following the
ceremony, you are asked to listen to morning announcements for instructions about award pick-up. Please be patient and wait for
further instructions.
4. I plan to attend, so when should I arrive and where should I go?
Award Recipients are asked to check-in at the front of the Cafetorium between 5:30-5:45 pm to pick up their award envelope
and then to immediately proceed into the gymnasium for the formal Awards Assembly. Teachers will be acting as ushers to help
you find your assigned section by grade. Parents are invited to move directly to the gym as seating is first come, first served.
5. Do I need to bring anything?
No—please bring nothing! Leave ALL personal belongings with your families before you check-in. You should have NOTHING
on your person, including cell phones, jackets, purses, etc.! The only thing you should have with you is your award folder,
which you will receive at check-in.
6. May I bring guests?
Due to fire regulations, this year each award winner is being invited to bring TWO guests to the ceremony. However, please do
make efforts to carpool, to walk, or to arrange for drop off/pick-up because parking is limited at the school. Drop-off in the
Student Parking Lot is ideal as our ceremony will be held in our gymnasium and guests can exit from there.
7. What should I wear?
For the ceremony, you are invited to “Dress your Best” knowing that we will have some very important community guests in
attendance. Please ensure your necklines and hemlines are appropriate for this special academic ceremony. Also, please wear
sensible shoes! You will be walking from the Caf to the gym, and a select few of you will also be called up on the stage to receive
some special awards. Of course, please know that you are always welcome to wear your Assumption uniform, but please
ensure you wear it correctly and proudly for our formal awards event.
8. What about parking?
Attendees and guests are encouraged to make every effort to carpool, to walk, or to arrange for drop-off/pick-up on the
evening of the ceremonies as parking is limited. The ceremony will be held in the gymnasium near the Student Entrance.
Additional parking may also be available in the Staff Parking Lot too. Please DO NOT park in marked fire lanes.
We look forward to celebrating with you on Wednesday, November 26, 2025!
If you have any additional questions, please visit the Main Office.
