1. This is a reminder that the 2024-2025 Honour Roll lists are posted in the windows outside the Main Office. You have UNTIL FRIDAY to double check these lists and direct any issues or concerns to the Main Office. More info about the ceremony will follow after this date.
2. A reminder that yoga will be tonight at 3:15 in room 1035. This will be the last week that reminders will be on morning announcements. New yogi’s are always welcome- bring a permission form to your first practice, and be sure to get added to our Club Brightspace!
3. If you ordered spirit wear online, and have received a notification that it has been delivered, your order can be picked up today in the student council office on your lunch.
4. Attention all students interested in trying out for the Sr. Boys Basketball Team. You must have a signed permission form that can be obtained from Mr. P, and you must register using the QR code found outside the male Phys. Ed office.
5. Attention students! The quake Model United Nations is happening on Friday December 5th. If you like to debate and are interested in world affairs, this event is for you. Please pick up an application form from the CWAYC bulletin board outside student services. This year’s topic is Global Trade & Commerce, focusing on labor rights, tariffs, economic growth, and global supply chains. No experience needed. All students are welcome! For more details, please attend an information meeting in the library during your lunch on Wednesday.
6. Sacred Heart Parish in Pairs is hosting the 2nd Annual NET Canada Retreat . It takes place on Sunday Nov. 16th following our 11am youth mass. It promises to be a FUN, Faith-filled day. A poster with a QR Registration code is located outside of our Campus Ministry Office and Guidance. Free lunch, snacks, and dinner are included. Hope to see you there! Also remember the next Youth Meeting at Sacred Heart Parish Centre is this Thurs. Nov. 6th 7-8:45pm. EVERYONE is WELCOME!
7. Vocal Ensemble is CANCELLED for tonight. Be sure to check D2L/Brightspace to get caught up. See you next week!
8. HEY LIONS – Its Play for Mac Kids Fundraiser in gym tonight. Come support the Jr and Sr Girls Basketball team in their Semi Final battle, and by doing so your entry fee benefits McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation. Entry fee is by donation, and it is CASH ONLY. There will be snacks, drinks and popcorn for sale. There is a $2.00 Half Court Challenge during both half time breaks. We are encouraging everyone to wear WHITE.... as it represents hope. Hope for our girls to win and move on to the finals and hope for the children at McMaster Hospital.
9. Come cheer on our Lady Lions. Game Time is 4:00 for the JR Game and 5:30 for the Senior Game
10. Let’s make it a WHITE OUT in the gym. Bring your school spirit and your generosity. Remember, it is Cash Only.
11. Any student who participated in Amplify Your Culture and left your poster in TLC, please come and get it. You have until the end of the week, or they will be thrown out.
12. Did you lose something? Check out the lost and found in the main office. It will be cleaned out at the end of the week and all clothing particles will be donated.
13. Today's special in the servery will be Pulled Pork on a bun topped with onions and mozzarella for $6.85 and small bit of fries for $7.65. Pulled pork poutine $7.25. Cinnamon buns available for 10:15 pm.
