SHSM Trip

SHSM students visited Mitsui High-tec, Inc. and GreenMantra Technologies, on Thurs. Oct. 2, 2025.

The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) is a specialized high school program, where the students concentrate on the areas of Computer Engineering, Automotive, and Manufacturing Sectors.

At Mitsui High-tec, Inc. students learned about fabrication of Roters, and Stators, that are used in Hybrid Motors for the automotive industry.

GreenMantra Technologies showed the students how they chemically convert Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) into binding agents used in the manufacture of Asphalt Shingles, Asphalt Roadways, and Composite Deck Board.
