3. LIONS...some very exciting sports news. This Thursday September 25th, ACS football will be hosting its first home football games in several years. It is very exciting that we are finally able to play "at home,” on our own field. Our opponent - St. John's. Junior kick-off is at 2pm followed by the senior game at 4pm. With these game times, admin has agreed to allow students to "buy in" to the junior football game. Students can purchase a "buy in" this week during their lunch in the cafeteria. The cost is $5.00 and you will receive a bracelet to attend the game. “Buy-in” bracelets will be available to purchase Wednesday and Thursday in the cafeteria during your lunch. So don’t forget your $5.00 if you want to be dismissed at 2 pm from period 4 to watch our Jr. Lions in action.
4. Students who have paid for the “buy-in” are to report to their period 4 class before the game on Thursday for attendance and show your classroom teacher your bracelet. You will be dismissed at 2pm to head over to the field and watch our Jr. Lions Football team dominate St. John’s. Students that choose not to "buy-in" can attend the game(s) after school where there will be a $3 admission. We will be going with a "White Out" theme in the stands. So bring your WHITE gear Lions. A reminder that students who "buy in" must be in regular uniform for your first 3 classes. It is not a Spirit wear day. With the help of Student Council, face painting and tattoos will be available, as well as performances by Mrs. Boschman's dance crew.It will be great to see our LION spirit on Thursday, finally at our own school.
