1. Picture Day is tomorrow, Thursday, September 18th! Photos will be taken in the small gym. Students will be called down by last name during Period 1, so please listen carefully for your turn. Please ensure that you are in full uniform. Smile big and get camera-ready, Lions!
2. Mrs. Sheldrake is looking for students who would like to be Eucharistic Ministers for our school Masses. Student Eucharistic Ministers are a powerful witness of faith to our school community. You must be Catholic and attend Mass in order to be a Eucharistic Minister. Please see Mrs. Sheldrake in her office - room 2053 today or tomorrow to sign up if you are interested. She will provide training for you.
3. Do you want a FREE YMCA gym membership? If you are between the ages of 12-15, sign up for the Y.E.S. Program. It runs from 4-6 each Tuesday for six weeks. Upon completion, you are given a 3-month gym membership and community hours. To sign up, go to the school website, or visit TLC today and scan the QR code.
4. Are you interested in the Christian faith or want to have an open discussion with someone with a Christian faith? Starting back up this Friday is ACS Faith and Fellowship! Meet in room 1003 on the senior lunch if you'd like to come and bring your friends! If you have any questions, please contact Brianna Cook. See you soon!
5. Due to safety regulations, going forward bus passes will no longer be available.
6. Attention Grade 12s. The University of Guelph Presentation is today at 1:40 in the Lecture Hall. Make sure to get to the lecture hall by 1:40 pm. Teachers, this was a big group, check your email if you would like to see the list of students.
7. Our homecoming dance is coming up on Thursday October 2nd! Ticket sales will begin next later next week. If you intend to bring a guest from another school, please pick up a guest form from the main office. Forms must be completed in full before a guest ticket may be purchased.
8. Come and join us tonight with fun, faith, and friends at Sacred Heart Youth Group! There will be socializing, snacks, and faith formation for a deeper connection with God. That’s tonight at 7:00-8:45 PM at Sacred Heart Parish in Paris. All youth are welcome.
9. Passionate about mental health, wellness, and faith? The Jack Chapter is our school’s mental health awareness team, embodied in faith and fueled by positivity! This year, you must apply to join. Choose between the Leadership Exec Team (meets 3 times a month) or General Membership (meets twice a month). Applications are due Friday, September 19th! Scan the QR code on the scrolling announcements or outside Workroom 2010 to apply and be part of a team that spreads care, compassion, and good vibes across our school.
10. Today's special in the servery will be Homemade Panzerotti's made with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and pizza sauce served with your choice of marinara sauce, hot mayo or garlic mayo for $6.50. Cheese panzo available as well for $6.50.
