1. This is a reminder that Picture Day is this Thursday, September 18th. All photos will be taken in the small gym, and students will be called down by last name starting in Period 1.Get ready to bring your best smiles, Lions!
2. Are you interested in the Christian faith or want to have an open discussion with someone with a Christian faith? Starting back up this Friday is ACS Faith and Fellowship! Meet in room 1003 on the senior lunch if you'd like to come and bring your friends! If you have any questions, please contact Brianna Cook. See you soon!
3. Attention Grade 10, 11 and 12 students! Be a leader, build your skills, and make the Grade 9 retreats unforgettable by being a Retreat Leader. Sign up tomorrow at Club Fest. Just look for the Retreat Leader display.
4. Are you a Senior Student looking for volunteer hours AND a leadership opportunity? The County of Brant is looking for 15-20 Senior Students to LEAD the next tree planting event in Mount Pleasant, on Saturday October 18th . To participate you must first attend a mandatory training meeting on Friday September 26th during 4th period. Pick up your Permission Form from the QUAKE board beside student services, and return to Mrs. Walsh in Room 3010.
5. You are invited to Sacred Heart Parish Youth Group! Come and join us with fun, faith, and friends! There will be socializing, snacks, and faith formation for a deeper connection with God. On Wednesday, September 17, tomorrow in the evening from 7:00-8:45 PM at Sacred Heart Parish in Paris. All youth are welcome - come as you are, beautiful people! We grow in faith by serving, bringing joy, lending a hand, and giving back to our community in many ways!
6. Do you want a FREE YMCA gym membership? If you are between the ages of 12-15, sign up for the Y.E.S. Program. It starts tonight and runs from 4-6 each Tuesday for six weeks. Upon completion, you are given a 3 month gym membership and community hours. To sign up, go to the school website, or visit TLC today and scan the QR code.
7. Looking to go see Macbeth this October? You must bring your permission form and, now, $32 cash to Ms. Gomez in room 1012. The next seven payments and forms – you need both – will get a spot on the bus. A permission form alone will not hold your spot. Hurry. That’s just seven spots left. $32. Gomez. Room 1012.
8. Hey! Today’s the day! Vocal Ensemble starts TONIGHT. Tuesday, September 16th from 3-4pm in the music room. All grades are welcome. See Ms. O’Neill for more information.
9. The first meeting of the quake debate club is today. Please come to the lecture hall after school. New members are very welcome.
10. . Are you passionate about strength training and ready to test your limits? We are looking for serious and committed students who are interested in competing in this year’s Highschool Powerlifting Meets. Events include Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift. Sign up at Clubfest today or come out to FIT club on Thursday after school in the weight room. Limited spots available
11. Senior Boys Rugby 7s, practices will be Today and Thursday starting at 3:45pm .
12. Today's special in the servery will be Chicken Quesdillas made with chicken white meat, salsa ,mozzarella, peppers and onions -grilled and served with a side of sour cream for $6.85. Cheese Quesdillas available for $5.75. +Cinnamon buns available today for first break.
