1. Attention all grade 9s. Colour Night is this Thursday! Don't miss out on this fun evening of games, pizza, and a dance. Tickets for this event are $5, and tickets must be purchased by 3pm today if you want to attend. Wristbands will be distributed to homerooms tomorrow, but if you purchased your ticket last week you can find out your team early on the list posted on the main office windows. Ticket sales end soon so make sure to buy yours ASAP!
2. All Indigenous Grade 9 Students, please go to Ms. Skye’s office at the beginning of your lunch.
3. If you ordered spirit wear over the summer and received a confirmation that it has been delivered, please pick up your order today or Thursday on your lunch. Grade 10s, 11s, and 12s can pick up in the student council office. Grade 9s, please pick up your orders in room 2073 at the BEGINNING of your lunch only. Please have your order number for pickup.
4. If you have an interest in learning the technologies that go into making our school events work and wish to be a part of a team that sets up for those school events, then the ACS AV club is for you! Please come to the first meeting on Tues. Sept. 9 after school. If you cannot attend the meeting, come and see Mr. Petrella in room 1141 sometime in the next few days.
5. Attention Grade 11 and 12 students. The ACS English Department has booked a trip to Stratford this October to see William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Don’t miss your chance to witness the rise of a ruthless king and the deadly cost of unchecked ambition. Pick up a permission form outside of room 1012 today—before fate decides for you.
6. The Arts Trip to New York City is almost full! Only 9 of 45 spots are left! If you want to go and are in a grade 9 through 12 visual art, drama, dance, music, photography or media art class, then what are you waiting for? Enroll today to secure one of the last 9 spots.
