1. This year’s spring dance is set for Thursday, May 15th from 6-9pm. The theme is “Spring into Glow”. Get ready for a music-filled night filled with neon and blacklights. Ticket sales for ACS students are available on school cash online from Monday May 5th to Wednesday May 14th. Guest tickets must be purchased in person at the back of the caf May 8th – May 13th. Please remember that guest forms must be completed before a ticket to the dance can be purchased. Guest forms can be picked up in the main office. No late taxi will be provided after the dance.
2. Attention all poets and performers! Get ready to showcase your talent for the upcoming virtual LAC Slam Poetry Contest! Submit your original poems by Tuesday, May 20th, 11:59 PM in the library's D2L. With cash prizes up to $100 for the top three winners, this is your chance to shine! Choose any theme that inspires you, but remember to keep it respectful and free from offensive language. Slam poetry is all about expressing your thoughts and emotions with passion and creativity—so let your words flow and captivate the audience!
3. The Confidence Closet Shoe Drive will be collecting shoes during the start of Period 2 today. The shoe drive aims at collecting shoes for the youth and young adults that require shoes for job interviews, housing interviews and safety while working! Period 1 teachers, if you can make sure the shoes are in an easy to collect area, the students collecting them will be very thankful!
4. If you borrowed a uniform from TLC, you need to return it ASAP. Any collateral remaining after May 30th will be donated to St. Vincent De Paul.
5. You are invited to fight Fast Fashion by joining the Environment Club’s Clothing Swap on Wednesday May 14th after school. Bring 10-15 used clothing items in good condition, and leave with some new-to-you clothes in return! All seasons and sizes needed. Light refreshments will be provided.
6. Attention Grade 12’s. Pick up your Prom tickets today at the back of the Caf during senior lunch. Bring your proof of purchase to receive your ticket. Once that is complete, send Ms. Mosher the list of people who will be sitting at your table. The list should include first and last names of everyone, including guests. See you at lunch!
7. Attention! All Extended French students in grades 9-12 are invited on a field trip on May 30th to a lavender field. Please come see Mme. Danielle in workroom 2010 during any lunch for a permission form.
8. Attention all girls interested in trying out for the girls lacrosse team. The first tryout will be next Thursday, May 15. Please sign the QR code outside the gym office.

11. Today's special in the servery will be Chicken Alfredo on penne pasta with a side of garlic toast for $6.50. Pasta with alfredo sauce is $5.50.
