SPORTS:
1. The senior girls basketball team played with great intensity this weekend in Barrie. Their cohesiveness and energy on the court led them to the tournament finals. Unfortunately, they lost to the top ranked Maple Ridge but should be congratulated for their finalist finish. In league play, it was a slow start against PJ last night, but our girls pulled it together to take an easy W. Shout out to the orange line! Well done ladies! Come out and support our lions on Thursday as they take on NPC in the den at 5:30.
2. Last Friday, your girl's rugby team participated in the 2nd annual spooky 7s rugby tournament, Coming in off a loss last year, the girls were hungry for a big win. They came out and played with intention and precision, bringing the pace each game. Over 4 games the girls only allowed 1 score against and came way with 4 wins. Big shout out to Olivia, Abbey, Pheonix and Charolotte for their great tackling and defensive play.
3. Congrats to our Jr Boys Volleyball team for the excellent set of skills and quick thinking on both attack and defence at Tuesday’s game against PJ that brought us home another win.. Shout outs go to Jackson, Neven, Alex and #11.
