Hey Lions, did you know the Monday, April 22nd is Earth Day and we've got something super cool planned!  We're asking all of you awesome students to help us out by collecting plastic bottle caps.  You know those little caps on top of your water bottles or soda bottles? Yup, those are the ones we're talking about! Instead of throwing them away, bring them to school!  You can leave them with your homeroom teacher everyday next week and someone will come and pick them up.  Let's show our planet some love and help keep it clean and green!

Attention Grade 11s! The time has come!  The Religions and Humanities Department has organized a trip for all students enrolled in Grade 11 World Religions to Toronto. The exploration will take place on Thursday May 2nd, and it will be all day!  Students will be leaving Assumption at 9AM and coming back in the evening. Please ensure to arrange a ride! The cost of the trip is $25 which includes transportation and tours! The deadline to hand in your forms and contacts is Thursday April 25th, so sign up quick to secure your spot!!!  If you would like to pick up a permission form or would like more information, please see Miss Dabrowski!

It's happening right now in the Library. The Taylor Swift versus Shakespeare contest. Come try your best guess at whether the line is a lyric from a Taylor Swift song or a line from a Shakespeare play or sonnet. If you guess 2 out of 3 correctly, your name gets entered into a draw for 1 of 3 Amazon gift cards. One entry per day. See Mrs. Engell or Mrs. Santos in the library today. The winners will be announced on Shakespeare's birthday, April 23rd. Good luck!

They will compete at OFSAA in Barrie on May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.  Congratulations Chris and Cruz on this awesome accomplishment!
