Great news Lions!  The cafeteria food services is reopening TODAY.  Please make sure you stop by the caf to check out the great selection of food to be purchased.   

Vocal ensemble is cancelled for tonight and will resume next Tuesday, March 8th.

Just a reminder to STEM members that there is a STEM council meeting being held after school in room 3005. Everyone is welcomed!

Senior Badminton tryout will take place on Thursday morning at 7:30am.

It is a very special week at Assumption College.  The Class of 2022 will cast their votes for the Valedictorian who will represent the graduates at the ceremony this June. Those 335 graduates who have paid their $75.00 fee to participate will, on Wednesday morning, receive an email from Mrs. Fergus with the link to cast their ballot.  The election will open on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 9:00 am.  It will also close at 4:00 pm on the same date. To cast your vote, please click on the link and select the ONE candidate you wish to elect.  The candidates are listed alphabetically by their last names.   

Attention students challenging the DELF exam:  There is a brief but important meeting on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 8:15am OR 3pm in Room 2005. Please make every effort to attend at one of these times. Questions?  Please see Madame McCulloch in Room 2005.

The moment you have been patiently waiting for has arrived.  The ACS Prefect Program is recruiting new members and we look forward to meeting you.  Join us in the Lecture Hall ON YOUR LUNCH on Mon. March 7 for a 30-minute information session where you can pick up an application package and learn how to become a Prefect to help others through: Homework Help, Mentorship, and Daily School Operations.  Remember, for every minute you serve as a Prefect, you earn a community service minute.  We only recruit once per year, and this is your opportunity to join the ACS Prefect Team.   See you on Monday, March 7th in the Lecture Hall during your lunch and bring a friend!

Attention all musicians!  Are you in a pipe and drum band? Do you play the bagpipes or drums for a pipe band?  If so, please stop into student services and sign up on the list found on Mrs. Dickson's desk.  Failte.

A message for Guidance.  If you submitted a SHSM application form but DIDN'T pick up a SHSM tracking sheet, you are asked to come to student services when you are NOT in class and ask for a SHSM Tracking Sheet for your sector so you can track your courses and plan your future courses.

Attention Graduating students! A quick reminder that many Scholarship and Bursary applications will be due in April and May-  March Break is a perfect time to decide which ones you will apply to.  Please take the time to check the Scholarship Chart found on your Grad Info D2L page under Content.  Make sure you check the need for reference letters and ensure you give staff of Assumption or any other adults at least 2 weeks to provide a letter of reference for you.  If a transcript is required, please provide Mrs. Dickson in Student Services with the email address it needs to be sent to in a timely manner so it can be sent electronically. Remember to apply to scholarships you are eligible for, and even though you may only be awarded with a limited number, it's free money that people in our community are willing to invest in your educational future, so take a chance and apply!
