We Scare Hunger

On Friday October 30, 2015, approximately 100 staff and students were at ACS helping out with this year’s We Scare Hunger Campaign.  We estimate about 15000 lbs of canned food were collected and sorted, making this year a huge success.  St Vincent de Paul will be sending a truck on Tuesday November 3, 2015, to pick up the cans.

Ally Penders and Haley Down were the main organizers for this event, so if you see them this week, give them a very well deserved pat on the back.  Abby Gerrasime organized the school for sorting all of the canned goods, also a tremendous effort. Please thank the many staff members, which came out to support this worthy cause.  Finally, the students who were participating in this year’s event were awesome.  They worked hard and effectively, did everything they were asked, and were an excellent reflection on our school in the community.
