Toyota SHSM Tour
On March 7, 2018, Assumption Automotive, Computer Technology, and Manufacturing SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) Technology Students visited the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Plant in Cambridge, ON. The tour involves a motorized tram tour through South Weld and North Assembly, where the Toyota Corolla, and Lexus RX 350 and RX 450h are assembled. Students saw all of the steps where 1600 parts turned into completed vehicle.
