Temporary Change to COVID-19 Case Communication

Update for Families – April 23, 2021

Based on recent reporting requirement amendments from the Ministry of Education, and on the number of days our schools have been on remote learning, we will no longer be reporting positive COVID-19 cases on our Reporting by Location webpage or via Twitter. If we are informed of positive COVID-19 cases in schools involving Special Education students, who require a significantly high level of complex support onsite, or the staff who support them, we will share the information with those directly involved. This change to our COVID-19 case communication is temporary and when we return to in-person learning, we will once again share updates on our Reporting by Location webpage and via Twitter.
