Eeesha

On Sunday, March 6, 2016, ACS performed "Eeesha" at the SEARS drama festival hosted by BCI.  We were awarded with an award of excellence for hair and makeup, led by Alexius Seco with the help of Hannah Desroches and Victoria Seco.  While ACS did not proceed to the next level, the adjudicator was most impressed with the plot and the plays' message, the ambition of the technical aspects of the show, the variety of performance options including original music with choreography, and the set.

A special shout out goes to Mrs. Alyson Mulrain, arts itinerant teacher in the elementary panel for supervising along with Ms. Freibauer and Mrs. Ratelband, Ms. Christie for set design and creation, to Mrs. Turvey for the lending of hair and makeup equipment, and to the Assumption Custodial staff for putting up with us aliens since our first rehearsal in October!  "Eeesha", directed by Breanna Carter, with musical direction and composition by Eric Linsday, stage managed by Cassi Werkman and choreographed by Ally Penders was truly a student only operation.  The students should be proud of all their countless hours!
