DELF

The DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) is a universal French proficiency test. Recipients of the DELF Diploma obtain certification from the French Ministry for National Education, recognizing the individuals’ competencies in four areas: oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, written expression. The DELF certification greatly enhances one’s resume, especially for Canadian citizens where the two official languages are French and English. It also holds many advantages for post-secondary education, as well, recipients receive international recognition of French proficiency, and it is a testimonial to one’s success in learning French. Several senior French students were selected to represent ACS in this initiative. Congratulations to Grade 11 and 12 French students Aby Gerassime, Gabrielle Hoggarth, Jessica Hoggarth, Tracy On, and Chiara Polilo for successfully obtaining their B1 DELF certification! A big thank you to Mme. DiFrancesco and Mme. McCulloch who dedicated their time and effort to help these students successfully pass their examinations!
