Day of Silence
On Friday November 20th Assumption College went silent. Over 150 students participated in our school’s vow of silence. The goal was to be a voice for the voiceless, to get people to think about the others who the world has forgotten. Would we stand by if over 4 million Canadians were driven from their homes? This was Assumption’s chance to stand up and tell people that we must do more, that we all have a Catholic responsibility to help our brothers and sisters in the world. Congratulations Lions, your silence was heard!
