On Friday June 8th, students attended a presentation about potential careers in the military reserves.  Grade 11 student  Hayden Dubecky shared his personal story about joining the reserves while still in high school.  He gave details about his military training and opportunities he will have for a future career in the regular forces.  Brantford recruiter Sgt. McLaughlin gave students details about an all day military co-op available to grade 11 and 12 students as well as information on the application process to join the reserves now.  Former ACS student Scott Hoo, gave a presentation on his decade of experience as a military reservist, including a voluntary deployment to Afghanistan as an artillery gunner and work with disaster relief in Quebec after the recent flooding.
