Black History Month Contest

To enter, you need to write a short persuasive essay about an African Canadian who overcame adversity to make a difference. You will be judged on your ability to convince us that the African Canadian you chose really made a difference. Maximum length is two pages double spaced. Once again, we will be handing out first, second and third prizes. Strong entries will be published in the school magazine. Please drop them off to the library learning commons by Feb. 22.
