Airport Trip

SHSM students visited Brantford Municipal Airport on Tuesday Oct 28, 2025. They were hosted by the Brantford Flying Club, who showed the students about employment within the Aviation Industry.

The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) is a specialized high school program, where the students concentrate on the areas of Computer Engineering, Automotive, and Manufacturing Sectors.

Careers explored were pilots, mechanics, air traffic controllers, and Instrumentation. Students learned the ins and outs of these fields, and about schools and pathways to these careers.
