ACS wins the CWOSSAA Boys Baseball Championship!

The ACS Boys Baseball team defeated John F Ross Royals of Guelph by the score of 15 - 4 on Wednesday May 25, 2016, to claim the first CWOSSAA baseball championship in ACS history. The boys pounded out 16 hits including triples by Brady Cappe, Jordan Stamp, Reece Doumani, Braydin Ramey and Gabe Bruder.  Brady Cappe also hit a 3 run homer on a towering drive over the right field fence.  Joe Cox had a double and a single, Luc Tanguay reached base 4 times and scored 3 runs while pitchers Brady Cappe and Kaine Doumani kept the Royals batters in check all day.  With the win the Lions advance to the OFSSAA Regional Championships to be played next week.
