2018 SHSM Trip

On Thursday Dec 13, 2018, ACS SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) students visited Bowman Precision Tooling, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc.  The students were from the Computer Engineering, Manufacturing, and Transportation classes.

The first stop was at Bowman Precision Tooling which produces high quality tooling, for advanced steels with complex geometry, engineered for improved productivity and reliability to industry. Next the students went to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. They saw the Corolla, and the Lexus RX 350 and now the RX 450h featuring Lexus Hybrid Drive being built.

Students saw how a product went from design to a finished product.
