GIS Day at ACS!

Grade 9 Geography students in Ms. LeMaitre's, Ms. Moffitt's  and Mr. Webster's classes participated in GIS Day on November 24.     Ms.  Jean Tong,  a GIS Ambassador from ESRI Canada, was guest teacher for the day.  Ms. Tong presented  the importance of geo-spatial technologies and instructed geography students  and C.W.A.Y.C.  members on how to create digital maps using ArcGIS Online,   a powerful web -based GIS  application.
