Easter message from Chair, Rick Petrella

My Dear Friends,

The most joyful season in our Liturgical calendar is upon us, as we look forward with hope and faith to the celebration of the resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Indeed, the true meaning of Easter is revealed in light of the Paschal mystery of the death and resurrection of Christ. It is the death of our Lord Jesus Christ that has redeemed for us eternal life and salvation and Christ’s resurrection is the basis of Christian hope and salvation.

During Lent, we were called to reflect on who we are and who we would like to become, to foster a closer relationship with God, and to focus on the needs of those who are less fortunate. Many of our students, staff, and parishes have given up things we normally enjoy. We have participated in many community service projects and have devoted more time to prayer and contemplation. I am truly humbled and proud by the outpouring of caring and compassion that we witness in our school communities on a daily basis.

Your commitment to Catholic Education is what sets us apart from all others. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I wish to thank you once again for your dedication and service to Catholic Education and to our students.

In closing, I would like to wish all of you God’s blessing during this Easter season and may His love fill your hearts, and the hearts of your family and homes.

Happy Easter!

Rick Petrella
